Tami Erwin
President – West Area

Tami Erwin is president – West Area for Verizon Wireless, responsible for the company’s operations throughout the western United States, an area spanning 12 states plus El Paso, Texas.

Erwin previously served as president-Washington/Baltimore/Virginia Region for Verizon Wireless, responsible for sales, marketing, customer service and retail stores in Washington DC, Maryland and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Prior to that, she served as president – Southwest Region and vice president – Customer Service for West Area.

Erwin began her career in the wireless industry in 1987 as a customer service representative for US WEST in Bellevue, Wash. Later she held a series of management positions representing a broad range of customer service functions, including outbound calling, technical operations, call center administration, activations and service inquiries. She also worked on an international team responsible for implementing cellular service in Hungary.

Tami Erwin attended Pacific Union College in Angwin, Calif., majoring in Business Administration.
