Rose M. Kirk
Vice President – National Enterprise Sales & Distribution
Rose Kirk is vice president - Distribution for Verizon Wireless, the premier wireless provider with the nation's most reliable wireless network. She is responsible for the company's national sales distribution operations, including retail, enterprise and wholesale.
Prior to being named to her current position, she was vice president – Corporate Employee Communications, responsible for creation and coordination of employee communications strategies across all of Verizon’s major lines of business.
Previously, Kirk was vice president - Partner Sales and Customer Services for Verizon’s Business Solutions Group. In this role, she was responsible for Verizon’s small-to-medium business customers, managing 50 partner sales agents, and a 1000 employee sales force.
Previous assignments of Kirk include executive director – Marketing Strategy and Integration and director – Consumer Product Line Management in which she developed and implemented marketing strategies for new and existing internet products. In addition, Kirk served as a marketing director, and has overseen Marketing Communications programs for a number of organizations within Verizon.
Kirk began her telecommunications career with SBC Communications, now AT&T as an executive speechwriter, later becoming the marketing director. She held a variety of marketing assignments at SBC, including segment marketing and brand campaign development.
As a recipient of numerous awards, Kirk holds three Verizon Excellence Awards for outstanding contribution to corporate revenue growth goals and an Addy Award for a Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages’ branding campaign.
She is member of the Board of Directors for the National Domestic Violence Hotline and the Communications Department Advisory Board of Arkansas State University.
Kirk holds a B.S. degree in Journalism from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro Arkansas and is completing a Masters Degree in International Affairs from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
