Roger Gurnani
Senior Vice President of Product Development

Roger Gurnani is senior vice president of product development for Verizon Wireless, the premier wireless provider with the nation’s largest, most reliable wireless voice and 3G broadband data network. In this role, which he assumed in March 2009, he is responsible for moving products – business and consumer – from innovation to commercialization.

Previously, Gurnani was senior vice president of network product integration for Verizon Communications. Prior to that, he was president – West Area for Verizon Wireless, responsible for the company's wireless operations throughout the western United States.

Gurnani was one of the founding senior executives of Verizon Wireless, helping to oversee and complete the integration of the domestic wireless operations of Bell Atlantic, Vodafone AirTouch and GTE at the company’s inception in 2000. Until 2005, he served as vice president and chief information officer, responsible for the company's IT portfolio development, and operation of its data centers and communications facilities.

He had previously served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Bell Atlantic Mobile.
