Nancy B. Clark
President - Great Plains Region
Nancy B. Clark is president – Great Plains region for Verizon Wireless, the premier wireless provider with the nation's most reliable wireless voice and data network. Clark is responsible for sales, service and overall company operations within the region, which encompasses Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska. She became regional president in June 2004.
Clark has held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility within Verizon Wireless and its legacy companies for the past 21 years. From 2002 to 2004, she served as vice president for customer service for the 15-state Midwest area. In that position, Clark was responsible for the area’s six Customer Service Centers, including the center which supported Verizon Wireless’ local number portability activity nationwide.
When Verizon Wireless was formed in 2000, Clark joined the Midwest area with responsibility for the distribution channel operations. She began her career in 1987 with the former GTE with positions in finance, marketing and sales for the company’s Texas and California markets.
Clark earned her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University.
