In an average day, the Verizon Wireless customer service network of stores, call centers and automated services handles more than 3 million customer transactions, including 1 million calls and emails to one of the company’s 33 US-based call centers. Due to some system settings in our computer, we had been unable to utilize our wireless card. Mr. Ferguson "went the extra mile" in helping us correct the problem. We very much appreciated his help in the store, and, even more, his initiative and perseverance. He could have let us walk away and try to work out the problem ourselves, but he didn't. I never felt pressured, but I was well informed by him and able to make decisions to meet my needs. This was followed up by a letter and a phone call to further explain a discount he had obtained for me due to my employment in county government. This level of commitment and service is extremely rare in any industry today. While I have purchased several cellular phones and contracts in the past, none of the experiences have matched this one, and I appreciate it. I love the phone and the service has been great.”

A few days later, I retuned to the store with my stepson, who has his own Verizon Wireless plan, to resolve a problem with his phone. Lindsey also showed him how to update his phone periodically (*228), which he was not aware of, and also what choices he has when his contract expires later this year. These are just the two most recent examples of excellent service that Verizon Wireless has provided over the years. Your tech support has been flawless, and the people on the other side of the phone are always friendly.
