Verizon Wireless devotes significant time and resources to programs that target specific groups of people who experience abuse and those organizations that serve them.

The HopeLine Elder Abuse Prevention Program provides funding to agencies with elder services and promotes education initiatives in communities nationwide to put an end to the abuse of seniors.

Verizon Wireless also partners with law enforcement agencies as part of its HopeLine initiatives, including donating BroadbandAccess service to prosecutors, detectives and other personnel in local government domestic violence units. BroadbandAccess provides wireless high-speed Internet access service and helps law enforcement agencies fight domestic violence, promote awareness and assist victims. Verizon Wireless also sponsors phone collection drives in cooperation with local sheriff's or police departments.
