Since 2001, Verizon Wireless has distributed more than 60,000 wireless phones with service to victims, survivors, and domestic violence organizations. In 2007, nearly 20,000 wireless phones were in service across the country, representing $6 million in service and phone equipment.

What is a HopeLine Phone?

The HopeLine phones have 3000 anytime minutes of airtime with calling features including: Nationwide coverage, Call-Forwarding, Call-Waiting, 3-Way Calling, Caller-ID, and Basic Voice Mail.

The coverage map for HopeLine service can be found on the this page.

Who is eligible for a HopeLine phone?

Domestic violence survivors must be affiliated with a domestic violence agency participating in the HopeLine program to receive services and equipment. Troubleshooting a HopeLine phone

If you experience any equipment- or service-related issues with your HopeLine phone, please contact the domestic violence agency or organization that issued the phone. Participating domestic violence organizations should contact their Verizon Wireless representative directly for troubleshooting, replacements, and any other questions regarding the HopeLine program.

HopeLine phone users should not contact Verizon Wireless customer service or visit a store for additional minutes or replacement phones.

If you are unable to contact the domestic violence organization that provided the phone, please send us an email using the Contact Us form. Please include your assigned HopeLine mobile telephone number in the Comment Section.
