For the seventh consecutive Father’s Day, hundreds of men stood together as ‘Founding Fathers,’ publicly dedicating themselves to teaching children to resolve conflict through conversation, not confrontation and to building a new kind of society where all daughters and sons are free from the fear and threat of violence.
In a full page declaration in the national edition of The New York Times, these ‘Founding Fathers’ declared their support for programs aimed at preventing and ending violence against women and children. Once again, the following Verizon Wireless executives took a stand against domestic violence as part of Family Violence Prevention Fund’s Founding Fathers (FVPF) initiative:

Continuing their pledge against domestic violence, Verizon Wireless, with the help of Peter D. Hart Research Associates, conducted a national survey in 2007 for the Family Violence Prevention Fund.
